October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Throughout October, Glynn Community Crisis Center / Amity House will participate in events across our community to honor survivors, remember those whose lives were lost, and raise awareness about domestic violence.

At Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, we will remember the 155 victims whose names will also be displayed in the front window of our Newcastle Street office as a tribute to their lives. . Click here to register.

Across from our office, a Field of Butterflies will serve as a visual tribute to the strength, resilience, and hope of survivors of domestic violence.

Join us for National Night Out on October 6 at Mary Ross Park, where we’ll share information, resources, and ways our community can support the work of Amity House.

And on October 22 from 5 to 8 p.m. enjoy a great meal at Mellow Mushroom while supporting Amity House and helping us continue providing services to individuals and families affected by domestic violence.
