GOP Revolution on the River scheduled Saturday, Oct 3

Revolution on the River, a Low Country celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary will be held Saturday, October 3 at the Darien Riverfront in Darien starting at 3 p.m.

The event is free and includes tours of the Bernice II, the oldest shrimp boat on the East Coast, a live concert with country music artist Cole Goodwin, vendors, food, beer garden, Revolutionary Way Reenactors and more.

At 4:30 p.m. Coastal Veterans and First Responder Organizations will be recognized; at 5 p.m. special guests will be recognized; the Cole Goodwin concert is scheduled for 6 p.m.; after parties at Rivers Edge and Marsh Pirate will be held at 8 p.m.
