Utility work on Sea Island Road at Cinema Lane starts Wednesday

Georgia Power will install utility poles along Sea Island Road near Cinema Lane beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23 through Friday Sept. 23 at 4 p.m.

During construction, one-lane traffic operations will be in effect within the work area. Motorists should expect delays and watch for flaggers directing traffic. Drivers are encouraged to follow all posted signage, slow down while traveling through the area, allow additional travel time, and use caution around workers and equipment.
