House Kratom study committee to meet
ATLANTA – The House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Youth Exposure to Kratom and Retail Available Substances, chaired by State Representative Rick Townsend (R-Brunswick), will hold its third meeting on Friday, September 25, , from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Georgia Center in Athens, Ga.
The Study Committee will evaluate the impact of these products on minors to strengthen protections, reduce access and create healthier outcomes for Georgia’s youth.
