Karlynn Barnes, Executive Director of SHARE of Coastal Georgia, recently spoke during the Brunswick Exchange Club’s weekly luncheon. Barnes outlined the organization’s mission to support individuals with disabilities through advocacy and comprehensive rehabilitation services for children and adults. Speech, Hearing and Rehabilitation Enterprises (SHARE) of Coastal Georgia, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that exists solely for the purpose of helping adults and children with disabilities. SHARE offers three services to Glynn County and surrounding counties: Speech Evaluations & Hearing Screenings, Vocational Rehab for Individuals with Disabilities (DEAR), and Senior Adult Activities Day Program (The Sharing Club). SHARE’s policy is that children and adults of all ages are eligible for service without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, creed, age, or sex.
