PorchFest 2026 opens applications for performers, hosts, volunteers, sponsors and vendors

The Brunswick PorchFest Planning Committee is excited applications are now open through September 15 for performers, porch hosts, volunteers, sponsors, and vendors for Brunswick PorchFest 2026. This year’s festival will take place from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, rain or shine, and will blast off under the extraterrestrial theme “Porch Invaders.

How to Apply

Applications for porch hosts, performers, volunteers, and sponsors are available online at www.PorchFestBWK.com through Sept. 15. Food and beverage vendor applications will close on September 1. Because of the shortened application period, interested participants are encouraged to apply as early as possible.

A record-breaking 15,000 persons attended last year. This free, family-friendly music festival celebrates the diversity, creativity, and hospitality of Historic Downtown Brunswick’s Old Town neighborhood, where front porches become stages and neighbors become hosts.

“We’re excited to welcome everyone back for another unforgettable day of music and community,” said Jason Umfress, Brunswick PorchFest Planning Committee Chairman and Head Gnome. “Every year, PorchFest reminds us just how special Brunswick is. This year’s ‘Porch Invaders’ theme invites everyone to have a little fun, get creative, and maybe even channel their favorite alien, astronaut, or space explorer.”

The festival is excited to announce that Maple Street Band, recently named Artist of the Year at the Golden Isles Music Awards, will close out the day with a special performance following the conclusion of neighborhood porch performances.

With demand from musicians continuing to grow each year, performers are encouraged to apply early. Late applications cannot be accepted since the planning committee works to match performers with porch hosts, finalize schedules, and prepare the festival experience.

The popular Brunswick PorchFest App will return, helping festival-goers explore performers, navigate the neighborhood, locate food vendors and restrooms, and support musicians through integrated virtual tip jars.

No Golf Cart Zone Returns and Expands

Last year’s designated No Cart Zones were a tremendous success thanks to the cooperation of attendees.

“We were incredibly appreciative of how well everyone respected the golf cart restrictions last year,” said Alec Eaton, PorchFest Planning Committee Traffic & Safety Chair. “Those pedestrian-only areas helped make the festival safer and more enjoyable for everyone. We plan to expand that into a No Wheels Zone this year to include skateboards, eBikes, and eScooters. We’ll have the same traffic plan in place this year and ask everyone to continue helping us put safety first.”

Clearly marked No Wheels Zones will once again require golf carts, scooters, bicycles, and other vehicles to be parked before entering the busiest pedestrian areas. Law enforcement officers and Neighbor Gnome volunteers will be available throughout the day to assist attendees.
