Southeast Georgia Health System Adds Two New Providers to Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Pediatrics
Southeast Georgia Health System is pleased to welcome Chad Ward, DO, and Carolanne Majeski, FNP-C, to Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Pediatrics, expanding access to pediatric care for families throughout the region.

Chad Ward, DO Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Pediatrics
Ward is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric critical care physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for children from birth through young adulthood, with expertise in the management of medically complex conditions.
Throughout his career, Ward has cared for some of the most vulnerable patients, including children with multiple chronic conditions, technology dependence and rare diagnoses. He most recently served as a pediatric critical care intensivist and pediatric sedation provider at Memorial Health Dwaine and Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital in Savannah and has held pediatric critical care positions at leading children’s hospitals across the Southeast. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center after completing his pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger and the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He currently serves as assistant professor of pediatric clinical faculty at Mercer University School of Medicine.
Ward is a passionate advocate for medically complex children, working to bridge gaps in care, improve communication among specialists and empower families with the knowledge and support they need to thrive. He believes every child deserves a physician who listens, advocates for the best possible outcomes and treats the whole family—not just the diagnosis.
Joining Ward at Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Pediatrics is Carolanne Majeski, FNP-C, a family nurse practitioner with more than 30 years of nursing and advanced practice experience caring for pediatric patients in a variety of health care settings.
Most recently, Majeski served with University of North Carolina (UNC) Novant Pediatric Endocrinology in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she specialized in diagnosing and managing pediatric endocrine disorders, including thyroid disease, diabetes, growth disorders and adrenal conditions. She also served as medical director of the Youth Health and Wellness Clinic, where she led the development of a comprehensive pediatric weight management program focused on obesity treatment, lifestyle education and preventive care.
Her extensive pediatric experience also includes pediatric urgent care, primary care pediatrics and chronic disease management at organizations including Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
