Light plane crash on St. Simons Island
Just before 1 p.m. today (April 16) an RV-14, N81282 single engine aircraft with two people on board had their nose wheel collapse upon landing on runway 22 on St. Simons Island Airport. No one was injured. The runway is expected to reopen by about 2 p.m. The aircraft was enroute to Kissimmee from Virginia.
