New trail at Selden Park officially opens Tuesday, Nov. 10

The public is invited to join county officials for the official opening ceremony of the new trail at Selden Park on Tuesday, November 10 at 9:00am.

There will be a brief ceremony with remarks from members of the Glynn County Board of Commissioners followed by a ribbon cutting.  The public is invited to wear comfortable shoes to walk the new trail after the ceremony.

This project, funded by SPLOST 2022, includes the addition of .92 mile of 8’ wide concrete sidewalk with park benches spaced intermittently along the trail for rest and reflection.  The trail features 8 interpretive signs with interesting information on the people and events that helping shaped the park.

The ceremony will be held near Headmasters House Tuesday morning.
