Free South Coast Bank Sensitive Document Shred Event Oct. 3

South Coast Bank and Keep Golden Isles Beautiful are hosting a community sensitive document shred event on Saturday, October 3rd. The FREE event begins at 9AM at the South Coast Bank ITM across from Sam’s (475 Canal Crossing Road, Brunswick) and ends when the truck is full or 11AM, whichever comes first (check KGIB Facebook page for event day updates).

“Protecting our community goes beyond banking, it’s about giving our neighbors peace of mind,” said Jesse LeGrand of South Coast Bank and KGIB board member. “We’re proud to team up once again with Keep Golden Isles Beautiful and Record Services, Inc. to provide a safe, accessible way to shred sensitive documents right here at our Canal Road ITM location.”

IMPORTANT INFO:

  • NO EARLY BIRDS (please don’t come early);
  • NO drop offs;
  • LIMIT: 10 boxes per vehicle;
  • Check KGIB Facebook page for event-day updates regarding truck filling/event ending;
  • Event ends at 11AM or when truck is full, whichever happens first;
  • Volunteers will remove shred materials from vehicles;
  • Please be patient.

ACCEPTED shred items include: any color office paper; any color file folders; staples, paper clips, rubber bands and small binders do not need to be removed.

NOT ACCEPTED: cardboard; common trash; hazardous materials; plastics or metals; CDs and DVDs.
