The Southeast Georgia Health System Foundation recently received a $5,000 donation from the Victory Board Foundation to provide meal vouchers for patients undergoing cancer treatment. This gift will help ease the financial burden of daily meals during treatment, offering comfort and support to patients throughout the coming year.
For 50 years now, Victory Board has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to supporting the local cancer community through its longstanding partnership with the American Cancer Society. Together, the organizations have made a meaningful impact on patients and caregivers served by the Southeast Georgia Health System Cancer Care Centers by providing financial assistance, supporting the Cancer Care Center Patient Pantry and funding programs that help patients navigate the challenges of cancer treatment.
In 2025, Victory Board expanded its mission by establishing the Victory Board Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving cancer patients, caregivers and health care providers across the Golden Isles. Since its inception, the Victory Board Foundation has worked to reduce financial barriers to care by investing in programs that directly benefit local patients.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Victory Board Foundation for its continued generosity and commitment to our patients,” said Bryan Thompson, director, Southeast Georgia Health System Foundation. “Their support helps ease some of the everyday burdens that accompany a cancer diagnosis, allowing patients and their families to focus on what matters most—their treatment and recovery.”
