The final beam was moved into place Friday (July 31) during the Topping Out Ceremony for Glynn’s newest Fire Station #9. The station will open early January 2027 and is funded with SPLOST 2022 dollars. The beam is located in the apparatus bay and will always be visible.(Islander staff photo)
