GIRW June Meeting to Feature Runoff Candidates – Updated list of candidates to attend
The next meeting of the Golden Isles Republican Women will be Monday, June 8 at noon in the Main Dining Room at Epworth by the Sea, 100 Arthur J. Moore Drive on St. Simons.
The featured speakers will be candidates in the upcoming GOP run-off election on June 16.
Candidates committed to speak to date include John F. Kennedy (candidate for Lt. Governor), Vernon Jones (candidate Secretary of State), and Richard Woods and Bubba Longgrear (candidates for State School Superintendent).
Representatives for Burt Jones (candidate for Governor) and Greg Dolezal (candidate for Lt. Governor) will attend. Other candidates are pending.
Check-in and seating start at 11:30 with the program starting at noon. The $25 cost covers full lunch, beverage, dessert, and gratuity and can be paid with cash or check made payable to “GIRW.” The planned menu for the meeting is available upon request.
