Mtn2Sea delivers gift cards to 74 families

Today starts our 12th day of being boots on the ground serving with the Brantley County fire. All though the fire situation is much better, the need is still extremely great. There is not an official final number for homes lost as of today, but the consensus is there will be over 100 families who lost everything.

To date, Mtn2Sea Ministries through the Lord ‘s help and your donations has bought over $60,000 in gift cards. We have been able to personally pray with, cry with, and place $500 Visa gift cards straight into the hands of 74 families. There are many more families that we are trying to quickly identify through the school system, the county family connection office, and local churches.

Today we will place our first family, that has been sleeping in a tent, in a camper that a local family donated. We are praying this will be the first of many.

If you or your church, business, group, etc. would like to help, please find a group that is on the ground and can personally get your donation into the hands of those that desperately need it. We have a list of churches we have been working with, that we trust, if you would like to help through them.
