Happy 100th birthday to Gussie Gammon just a few days ago from all her friends at St. Simons Presbyterian Church as well as all of us throughout the community.

Brunswick First United Methodist Church announces that Rev. Chip Strickland has been appointed to serve as Executive Vice President of Epworth By The Sea. Rev Dr. Tara Paul has been appointed as new pastor. Sympathy is expressed to Jeffrey and Gayle Egan in the loss of their son in law Stephen Hughes. Sympathy is also expressed to the family and friends of Dr. John Hamilton.

Rebecca Hobby is welcomed as a new member of Wesley Church at Frederica. Sympathy is expressed to the family of Tricia Amodeo in the loss of her mother Janet York. On Wednesday, July 22, at 6:30 p.m. select members of the Sanctuary Choir will present an original faith based musical “Lain’ Low In Mexico” written by Dave Myers, arranged by Dr. Debbie McElrath and scored by Dr. Keith Teepen. The Church will host a Creative Arts Camp at Christ Church July 27–July 31. Campers will enjoy mornings filled with painting, music, drama, crafts, and plenty of creative fun. In the afternoons Mini Motions will offer classes in creative movement, hip hop, tumbling, and ballet. Families can choose the schedule that works best—morning, afternoon, or a full-day experience.
