Throughout October, shades of pink will be seen across our communities as Southeast Georgia Health System team members and community partners come together in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
From pink décor and themed apparel to community events and fundraisers, activities will raise awareness and support the Health System’s breast care programs.
ARTrageous Bras Exhibit | October 1-31
Creativity meets a great cause with the annual ARTrageous Bras fundraiser. Decorated bras will be on display throughout October at the Brunswick and Camden campuses.
Community members can vote for their favorites at the Guest Services desk on the Camden Campus, at the Foundation office on the Brunswick Campus or online at
wearethefoundation.org. Votes are $1 each, and participants may vote for as many bras—and as often—as they wish.
ARTrageous Bras Silent and Live Auction | Friday, Nov. 6, 6-7:30 p.m.
The fun continues with the ARTrageous Bras silent and live auction at Tipsy McSway’s outdoor courtyard, 1414 Newcastle Street in Historic Downtown Brunswick. Proceeds benefit cancer care programs at Southeast Georgia Health System. For more information, call 912-466-3360.
Smash Breast Cancer Triples Tennis Tournament | Saturday, Oct. 3, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
The third annual Smash Breast Cancer Triples Tennis Tournament will take place at Epworth Park Tennis Courts, 108 Lady Huntington Drive, St. Simons Island. The tournament is open to all ages and skill levels, although some tennis experience is recommended.
Entry is $40 per participant, payable via Venmo (@goldenisles-Tennis) or on-site by cash, check or credit card. Participants who pre-register by Thursday, Oct. 1 may form their own team. Those registering the day of the event will be placed on a team.
The fun continues off the courts from 12-2 p.m. at American Legion Post 166, 1013 Arthur J. Moore Drive, across from Gascoigne Park on St. Simons Island. Activities will include food trucks, a bake sale, silent auction, drawing and tournament awards.

Pink Out Friday | Friday, Oct. 9
The community is encouraged to wear pink in support of those affected by breast cancer and help turn Southeast Georgia pink for the day.
Participants can also join the Health System’s social media campaign by snapping a photo with friends, family or coworkers wearing pink and sharing it using
#PinkOut2026. Photos may be featured on the Health System’s Facebook page at
facebook.com/SGHScares.

Area high schools are joining the Health System’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities by hosting Pink Out Friday Games during October football games:
- Brantley County High School — Friday, Oct. 2
- Glynn Academy — Friday, Oct. 2
- Frederica Academy — Friday, Oct. 9
- Camden County High School – Friday, Oct. 16
- Brunswick High School — Friday, Oct. 23
- McIntosh Academy — Friday, Oct. 30
