Pier closed at 8 a.m. today – Friday July 3

The St. Simons Pier will close at 8 a.m. on Friday, July 3 for fireworks setup. On July 4, the streets immediately surrounding the Pier Village and Neptune Park area will be closed to traffic. This includes Mallery Street from Ocean Boulevard down toward the pier, and Beachview Drive from 15th Street south toward the park and waterfront. Drivers should expect restricted access in the Pier Village area and plan to arrive early or use alternate routes or park farther away and walk in.Handicap parking will be available along Beachview Drive between Mallery Street and 15th Street, just north of Neptune Park. Visitors can reach this area by approaching from the north end of Beachview, entering from Kings Way or Ocean Boulevard, and traveling southbound until they reach the ADA parking zone. Space is limited, so guests are encouraged to arrive early.

To support pedestrian safety and event operations, several closures will be in place.
